The train's most recent run-in with the Ministry had involved kidnappings, interrogations, and tests, and about the only reason Ryo's not directly holding a grudge for that is the fact that the train saved him from going through it himself. Scheduled meetings and being listened to is about as far from kidnappings as they could get, and if no one else has let them know that it's appreciated, then at least he can.
