It's not until fully the next day when he does eventually find him, just because the first two ended up being a lot. Conversations were heavy and hearts were raw all over, and he tempered himself back into more of the person that he wanted to be rather than that selfish, defensive thing he could be.

So he's much calmer when he finds him, if tired looking. He knocks lightly on his door and shuts his eyes.
