"Alright," Koumyou looks around for one of the 'shrine' type spots, out of the way of others, and leads the way over there. As he does, he shrugs his cloak back from his shoulders to expose the Seiten sutra, and draws his golden crown with its white cloth veil from his ARMs band.

The priest folds himself down to sit in full lotus on the ground in front of this little shrine. Even as he moves to do this, he places the crown on his head with a practiced flourish that settles the veil around his shoulders.

After a glance at Buttercup to make sure she's ready -- whatever that entails -- he turns back to the shrine, lifts his hands together in the universal prayer pose in front of his face, palm to palm, and starts to chant.

It's ceaseless, rhythmic, rapid, and the tone ebbs and flows as he goes, almost like singing. The Sanzo's voice isn't quiet, or secretive, and he automatically projects it with strength as though doing this inside of a huge ceremony hall for hundreds of monks and faithful behind him.

Instead of, you know, one girl with a candle. And anyone else who finds it useful, honestly, he's fine with that.
