"Oh, the sun comes in the summer. It just stays dark for a long time before the sun comes back, like here. Some people live there---not a whole lot, because it's really cold and tough to deal with. But then in the summer, they have daylight for almost three months straight---no night. It'd be hard to sleep like that right?"

Jake considers the other questions. "Your eyes do adjust after a while, but not like sci-fi night vision. They still need lights. And the plants are mostly moss, fungi, grass...no trees because most of the ground is frozen, the roots can't grow."
