Organising anything would be hard at that age if the grown ups around her were the type to lock her away for years and years. That was a stupid thing to happen.

She tilted her head, listening. She has seen enough films to understand caskets and honestly the idea of burying the dead still filled her with a deep horror but she understood that other worlds were different and that was their way.

"It do be being wrong that you did no be being allowed to be saying goodbye. Even if you would no be being able to see them. Did you be wanting to be saying goodbye to them tonight?"

It's not the same. A weird ritual on a weird world. But it's better than nothing.
