He listens, feet stopping to give proper attention. Watching the expressions change, shift. Tones of his voice. Continues on until he was certain that was the end. Considers, calculates, and slowly finds his spot back on the bed. Struggles to not let a smirk tug back at his lips when Yondu goes on about seeing prettier. Maybe this was a problem he had. Getting kicks out of people's irritation with him.

"I don't want to mislead you," the words that came weren't cold. The opposite, in fact, as earnest as Yondu's had been. "Because I enjoy your company as well," this is much harder for him to speak.
