Nothing or no one would ever overshadow Stakar. His duty as a father had always come first when he fell into it, but for as much as the past hurt, he also remembers the moment Stakar freed him. Even with his own heart aching from the loss, he hangs onto how the man's face looked that day.
Only Mito's story, while still tragic, was much luckier. He'd want to live in that kind of past, too.
