It's a tantalizing possiblity, his hand dropping away from the floating images, gaze moving toward the one speaking.

"If there's any from a region of the world called Gusu, locally, I would really appreciate knowing how to get ahold of that." Assuming, as he does, that no one would have tried to infiltrate his sect's mountain, between it's wards, flying dragons, and the obscuring fogs.

The whole of what is unique in their situation being the collective factors further gives him pause, his grown obvious.

"That they're bodied is stranger to me," he says, "Though in at least one case, I know they only do with the tether strengthening the belief in his reality. Spirits being tethered after death and made to take action isn't impossible on my world."

Not great, so heavily depending on the person and that use. His tail sways behind him, low and contemplative.

"What do you mean by, without apparent cost to the aided?"
