Was that the sort of reply they were looking for? Probably not. But this is just the way Madoka is - naive enough that it's the immediate thought that comes to mind after Ten-Nank asks her that. Too kind to even try to lie, or make herself seem better than she really is.

Even if she's not too sure where they're going with that question. She can at least keep the other things in mind, maybe inform new people about that one they show up, but.. numbers? She isn't too sure what's going on with those.
