"Long story short, Mother left the Underworld without telling Father, and for the longest time I never knew she existed, and until I went to find her, she didn't know I existed. She thought I'd died in childbirth, but Lady Nyx thankfully managed to revive me. Now because of Nyx, and her daughters the Fates, I can't die permanently, but I am tied to the Underworld, meaning I can't survive on the surface for long. Hence the SCA, here, on missions and the like."

Loads of things like olives, and grapes, and pomegranates, and these big leafy green things, and these flowers that grow in a little bunch of blooms in purple and pink and blue, and they smell really nice... her garden is so bright and vivid, it's hard not to picture her standing in it right now."
