"It's very different," Soldat says without hesitation. "It's safer on the train. It's brighter. It's so much more crowded-- a lot less privacy. Whenever I needed somewhere quieter, I could just take a five minute walk and there'd be nobody around but wind and bird-spirits in the trees. Or waves on the lakeshore. I love people, but sometimes they're a bit much, you know?"
