The angel is completely focused on his hunt, not to be stopped by any man, creature, or otherwise. But he does have the mind to, at least, take a gander at their surroundings every so often, to take in the environment, the people, the sights, they sounds. It's all part of the experience, after all, even if he has a favorite.
"Oh, it's all quite exquisite. Do you remember places like these on Earth?"
It has been a while, but, save for the cave, it reminds him of villages, of fairs. Suppose the pattern is speckled throughout most of humanity's development, and there's a real sense of life and community.
It's in the middle of this thought that he stops, sniffing the air, and is once again back to the hunt.
