If they have headphones from the music room they can make it so they work like earpieces.

Testimonial: The overall goal of the train appears to be to use the new crew to locate the old crew, and if possible, to rescue them. This appears to be factually true, as I've been informed the train cannot lie. The train's programming involves collecting individuals who may assist in this matter. For my full opinion one must consider the train having sentience and agency to some degree. The train is unwilling to act within the bounds of consent of those on board. Despite attempts to make the train to understand that personal choice should be permitted, the train has been unwilling to bend on this matter. The train is also guarded and unwilling to provide answers to questions, such as vital information about basic training. Those on board have not been given access to basic void training, by any means. The train actively took steps to isolate those on board from reaching out for help, through either Anan, who had to be contacted through subterfuge, or the Ministry who the train does not trust. The train believes it is doing what is best for those on board, even when those on board do not agree, and the train is unwilling to change.

The train is designed to keep those on board ignorant of everything. Choice is not given. Not through the menu, reading and learning materials are restricted, amenities have been awarded over time to pacify those on board. It is my opinion that this is a very fancy prison, but we are prisoners none the less. At the same time, not all resources are freely given. Medication is only partially provided, the rest are to be earned through on board currency.

The collective of the people selected for this journey are people who are from varied different backgrounds, but they all share traits that they cannot turn their backs on those suffering some kind of catastrophe or trouble. This allows for compliance from those on board to participate in the missions they willingly did not choose to go to. If someone did happen to be able to ignore such a thing, the overwhelming majority would merely cover for them. It is my opinion that this is how the train has been mostly successful, an appeal to people's inherent nature to help those in need.

Personally, I do not trust the word of the Voidtrecker Express, and I question the danger it seems to think we are under, when in actuality we are all victims of some kind of kidnapping gone awry.

Personal Wishes: My world is in a state of near-catastrophe. I'm not sure how else I would put it, considering the global population has been reduced from seven billion to roughly two hundred. The catalyst for this happened a long, long time ago, and unlike some of these worlds, being on a non-void active one, we were not rescued. Rescue seems rather fanciful. I have a significant role among the remnants of humanity and initially when we left I was confident that those who worked with me would manage, but they must be reaching their limitations at this point. I'm not asking that someone save us, I'm willing to do it myself, but for that I need to be home. It is not that I don't trust my Generals, far from it, but rather we have been relying on my vast encyclopedic knowledge of science and technological advancement, and have been operating within that framework. Without me, there are many things that they just wouldn't have access to, including getting up to confront the one who is holding the entire planet hostage as their own eternal prisoners. Probably. I need to do a few more tests, but I'm fairly certain death has been suspended by the entity through its ability to merely revive those who happen to fall. Sounds like Hell, doesn't it?

Help with our world's state would be accepted and welcomed. It's not necessary. The best resolution for me would be to return where I came from. Void travel to connect to those I know would be appreciated as well, but if it came to a choice, I would have to choose my world.

Other notes: Provided my desire to go home, should that not be possible at the moment, I desire information. As much information about everything as possible. I'm a scientist primarily, so naturally that is where my inclinations lay.

There is someone else from my world, or at least, everything he knows suggests he's from my world, but the train has informed me he is not. We appear to be from different times, him being further ahead of me by a couple of months. I'm not sure what to make of that yet, the restriction on information has not been informative in the least.

I'd like to know a lot more about the Ministry and void travel in general.
