As terrible as a warzone could be, being immediately engulfed and blinded by a giant storm is now on his 'do not want' list. Even Flynn's worst self-created weather mishaps hadn't been this extreme.
A deluge of rain spears into his grid-suit, and he is further buffeted by strong winds, hardly anything can be heard above the howl, little lone see what's in front. He's having trouble keeping a steady footing in this water, and he worries how Mina will fare, or if they should simply bail, and reassess their options.
He turns to where he thinks Mina is, "I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS!" Maybe some of it was heard? Hopefully she can see his glowing circuitry.
Ok, it's time for his helmet. He actives his helmet and it cuts down on some of the annoyance. Doesn't do so much for anything else. The only positive is regardless of the less than stellar weather, is his relief from the oppressive heat from outside. At least he's cool enough now for optimal performance.
