Staying in the camps isn't an option - not when they're all being targeted by refugees and people appearing from seemingly nowhere - so a number of those targeted have left, Ryo and Thanatos among them. For the most part, Ryo is keeping to himself, trying not to get in the way and keep an eye out-

And yet, somehow, they still get taken by surprise, because some of those after them were enterprising enough to set up an ambush. They're working in groups- they're setting traps- this is bad-

And one of them gets ideas and launches himself at Ryo, catching him in a flying tackle and knocking him against someone else. Ryo yelps and struggles to get away, not noticing that the person he's been slammed against is the person he's been trying to avoid: Thanatos.
