Devero hones in on Ryo likes he's got a laser sight guiding him, his huge size and obvious urgency clearing the way for him.

He ducks into the tent after Ryo, kneeling even as the younger man is rolling out that blanket for his passenger. He sets them down as gently as possible, telling Ryo as he does, "They're unresponsive, but I don't know if it's shock or a head injury."

It could certainly be the former-- there is a lot of blood on the native and now on Devero; a gaping rent in their shirt shows the gaping wound in their side that's the blood's source.
