Without replying - yet, anyway - the girl is already moving over towards the other, latching onto Persephone. Madoka is well aware that this might not exactly be the best timing to do so, since everything in camp could be dangerous within the current situation, but she can't help it.

She's just scared. She was already worried enough earlier during the mission.. but things were still relatively safe then.

Right now? Well, they have no idea what's going on anymore. Madoka certainly doesn't, and so she can't help but cling to the one thing that feels safe right here, and that's Persephone.

"It's scary.." She finally manages to force out by then, as an answer to the other's question.
