Oh-- oh! Esteban's smile widens when he notices his companion is doing his own dance, short skips and swirls that follow a pretty pattern. He hadn't known there was another dancer on the train-- but there is delight in finding another person who enjoys it as well!
For now, he focuses on his companion's movements, noticing how his fingers curl a bit, and how the poi flick smoothly through the air around him. He's used to props, Esteban would bet, but he's not sure what kind of tools the catfolk might use-- curiosity rises in him, and it's hard to bite it back when he has so many questions.
He tries his best to sit still, watching the performance and trying to gather the few minutes of rest he's been allowed. It doesn't work so well. The moment K'zeka is done, the half-elf is up again, and the torrent of his words is too fast for his mouth to keep up with.
"Th't dance 's so pretty!~ Didn't know y' l'ke t' dance too, y' gotta have a lotta practice; y' 'dapted t' the poi in a snap! D'you dance w'th tools us'ally, 'cause you clearly got s'me practice with 'em-- what kinda tool're they though, couldn't tell-- couldn't guess! D'you mind showin' me? I just gotta learn yer dance too!~"
Funny how he went from offering K'zeka to show him how to dance, straight into the opposite. He's really impressed-- most people wouldn't even know how to make a simple turn with poi without a bit of practice, but the other dancer had managed it so smoothly. Questions and curiosities burn onto the tip of his tongue, but Esteban's fairly certain that he's going too fast to be understood at the moment.
He has to force himself to take a step back and a deep breath before grinning again, still excited, but hopefully a little less overwhelming with his eagerness.
