Granted, playing music at them - probably enhanced by Rich's powers, if the comparison to Diagad means anything here - isn't quite the same as reasoning.. but if they aren't intimidated by the sheer size of Alice's weapon, then she figures there must be something stronger controlling these people.

Then again, who knows? She's just as blind to this situation as Rich himself is, she's sure.
