Honestly, under regular circumstances Alice might have realised as much. But right now, when her own mind has been pushed so far towards the back of her mind, buried underneath all the rage that takes her over so easily, it's so much harder to realise things.

After all, Alice's anger has always been born out of a lack of anyone at all caring about her. Born out of a need to always - violently - having to take care of herself in a way too violent world.

Something about her voice - and her breath - shakes a little, like she's currently fighting herself. Trying to fight the urge to keep fighting, to keep on going, to not back down from this battleground. "If it is for your sake.."
