Some days, some battles go better than others. It's taken time for Wangji to approach- mostly thanks to not having an equalizer. His dubious nature with electronics is coming back to bite him... again.

Just as he's breached the walls and been met with the sight of the large mirror, ribbons of gold are running riot and the temperature is plummeting. Thanks to the cold, his reactions are slowed to the point that at least one grabs him with what feels like the intensity of a brand. With grunt of pain and the distraction of several people doing rather impressive things, he manages to extract himself and bolt over towards the mirror thanks to Masumi's yell.
