Zagreus is finally free, and he gasps like getting a lungful of air after almost drowning. The pain is starting to slowly fade, but not quite completely, as his powers as the God of Life have been severely stunted, not at all like the radiance of this Goddess of Life. Leia's lending of the Force may be spent, but Zagreus still feels the shield he'd made out of his temporary use of the Force, still trying to protect Thanatos.
"I won't," he growls through gritted teeth in response to Than's plea, the Pierced Butterfly glinting in the brilliant light of the Goddess. "And you're not alone, Than. We won't let her take you." Instead of moving to join Thanatos, Zagreus instead starts to climb Kolokifi's towering form, hoping to get toward her head and draw attention.
"They aren't Eilifi, or Herios, or Merios! They're Persephone, Emporio, Thanatos! They come from worlds far past Praeus! Eilifi and Merios are here, in this world, waiting for you to see reason! They're safe! You don't have to protect Lady Eilifi or Lord Merios! They're not in danger!" Excalibur still has Hallowed Ground active for now, but it will fizzle out soon and he'll have to activate it again.
