The ground shakes more fiercely as more golden tendrils whirl around the mirror. It is a good effort, the front that the voidtreckers are holding but for every ribbon sliced, short or blasted with dark energy more swirl up to take their place. Wei Wuxian's fire curls around the ribbons, sometimes succeeding in burning them and sometimes being frozen, iced embers falling to the ground.

Masumi, Lan Wangji, Nozomi and Faux will find ribbons twisting around them like a maze. Within the ribbons eyes blink and vanish even as the earth trembles and tries to knock them down, as if trying to force them back from the mirror.

Fai will find a ribbon s rising from the earth, trying to tangle his feet and keep him from the mirror.

As if it could sense that it was doing no harm the ribbon around Otoha tried to pull upwards to knock him off balance and pull him into the air.

From a distance both Tidus and Kiyoiri's efforts are keeping a whole lot more of the ribbons at bay. They have to be careful though as eyes flash in the ice and the ground begins rippling as if something is snaking towards them, unseen for now.

Raven is well protected by Soldat who is baring the bring of the ribbons coming towards the two of them but as Raven sends her dark energy to the mirror the golden energy fights back and both are reflected in the mirror sending a shock wave out, enough to send them both flying if they do not brace.
