Leia managed to close her eyes in time to avoid the blinding light, and after that opted to keep them closed. It might seem strange to anyone who spotted her; after all, this was pretty much the exact opposite of the sort of time most people would want to close their eyes. But most people weren't Force sensitive. And if her dodges of the tendrils became closer shaves, her movements in doing so became more fluid as she let the Force do more of the work. If anyone can see or sense it amid the bright light and chaos, they might notice that Leia has a soft blue glow around her, looks somewhat translucent, and feels less present physically but more so spiritually.

She'd felt the tearing of the energy earlier, but wasn't certain if it was a good thing or a bad thing. They seemed to be getting through to Kolokifi, but only for a moment or two at a time. Just long enough to give her pause. It wasn't enough. She reached out with the Force using it to lend greater strength to her calming voice, hoping that it would give the other Voidtreckers or deities an opening to push through a bit more.
