Lea and Wei Wuxian reach the base of the mirror, where the controls are. Luckily for them the ministry have made this to be simple to operate. There are three distinct buttons, working almost identically to he equalisers they have spent the week using. However as Wei Wuxian tries to borrow the power he will find that it does the same, pulling on his power, trying to borrow it back. It will snatch his concentration as the ribbon pulls at his energy, fighting back. Luckily Faux is near enough to keep the area clear for Lea to continue with the work especially when aided by Raven's dark energy attacks.

It powers up easily enough letting out a low hum that gets more intense as the world continues to shake. More cracks appear in the ice and indeed in the very air around them. Tears in the fabric of reality itself. Even the ribbons seem to avoid these as they twirl around the voidtreckers.

Masumi, Fai and Lan Wangji make good progress, moving through the ribbons and keeping them away from the horn. The humming gets louder and the ribbons begin to retreat, curling back.

Nozomi is lifted high into the air, ribbons tightening around her sending burning sensations through her as they try to cover the whole of her, now that she is in their grasp.

Soldat cuts any ribbons that approach Raven as she rescues Kiyoiri out of the time loop.

Just in time.

The world lurches. Eyes blink open, the world freezes, the world burns, rain pours and flowers burst up through cracks in the ice to die again. There is laughter in the air, screams fill their ears and a thousand songs are sung.

There is a bright light, brighter, brighter. Coming from the mirror? Coming towards the mirror?

A crack and everyone is thrown up and outwards.
