It is only thanks to Eilifi and Silifi that he is managing to stay conscious. The effort of trying to pull himself free is starting to wear on him, but the assistance of the twin Gods gives him just enough relief to continue struggling, like an animal caught in a cage. Zagreus listens carefully to what the Gods whisper to him as he tries in vain to free himself, despite the pain still searing through his whole body. He's still in too much pain to speak, so he tries instead to send his thoughts to the Gods.
I'll wait until I make it to the Shade, Zagreus responds to Nypsia, and to Silifi he adds, and I'll run once the Mirror goes off and I'm no longer needed. Thank you. Thank you all. He hates running from a fight, but even this he admits is too much for him, as he still struggles to get his feet free. His Diagad powers are fraying the edges of his Life thread, but Thanatos' attention upon him is keeping him from fizzling out completely. He tries to draw Kolokifi's godly body made of fire away from his feet, even an inch, so he might be able to pry himself free.
He feels Leia fade away from consciousness; though his brief use of the Force was a bit ago, he still senses the presence fade, and he manages only to grunt into the SCA, "someone get her out of there" in response. Without knowing who she is exactly, though, it's hard to tell whether anyone will catch onto his meaning.
The full brightness of the sun, even with Nypsia's blessing, still hurts even after so many times of staring at his own sunrise. But this isn't just a pretty scene, this is the whole of the Sun bearing down upon him, attention drawn directly to him. The heat is stronger than Asphodel, even with Nypsia's cooling touch, even with Eilifi's soothing balm. Even still, he tries to reason with her, if only to keep her attention.
"Lady Summer, your Children need you, your-- your Kin need you, please--" The prince knows he's a sitting duck at the moment, and so he tries to keep her focus toward him, his eyes closed tightly against her searing brightness and his hand reaching out as if to touch her heavenly face. Just a little longer... just a little more, and then...
