At least Inigo, even in this state, is pretty obedient. The moment Senku tells him to lower his arms, he does. And the moment he tells him to cooperate by stepping over towards-- well, towards where Senku is guiding them, he does that too.

But as long as the other isn't telling him to let go? Inigo isn't going to do so just yet. He's still clinging to his life raft here, thanks, even once they're at the furnace.

"This can't kill us. Right?"

Something about that question sounds like he's desperate for confirmation.
