'No soldier left behind.'
If it wasn't the official motto of Special Forces, it was still said among them; get everyone home, and if not living, then get their remains.

Trial and error have her go..not touching, but keeping close to the train, intervals when the noises and visions in her head become too much. All this talk from the SCAs, and focusing and seeing them in their heads. If there was ever a time to 'focus' on a person's chi-well, wouldn't be the first time she's had a trail by fire.

Hand on a tether, she forces herself to move forward, eyes sharp for movement through the fog. The names she calls out are members of her team that might've gotten lost..or names she might've adopted.

"Cassie! Cassie..are you there?!"

Return

Sonya thought she knew exhaustion; years of combat meant more than enough ventures of sleepless, ever vigilant posts, meant wounds and near death experiences that one time required her to be put in a medical coma so the rest of her could heal. All of it meant days of lingering fatigue.

And yet, Sonya couldn't recall being so tired, so fatigued that just staying awake was pain. Perhaps along the lines of a bad flu, or recovering from an explosion, but still not the same.

Red was due for cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, but even a light cleaning required too much energy. She spent the entire rest of the day feeling as though every muscle made of cinder blocks.
