Not physically; physically he's back in Mor Dhona where he started. Mentally, he's panicking. At the start, all he intended to do was go back and check out how everyone was doing, how the world was faring without him. Just a quick trip in and out, and if necessary, he'd stay and not return to the train.
None of it went to plan. None of his friends could be found, strange and disturbing rumors were all over the town, and no matter what K'zeka did, trying to use the aetheryte network just flung him back to the platform or another world entirely.
[AN OMEN]
It's not unusual for Revenant Toll to experience strange weather, so when strange colors appear in the sky, it's not a cause for concern among most people. It's when those unusual colors stick around in an otherwise clear blue or dark sky.
The rumor mill churns again, this time telling of a surfeit of sudden prophets and K'zeka's reminded of similar events a world away.
Then his SCA--he still had it on just out of habit--beeped.
"This was a mistake."
[RETURNED]
Once back on the train, K'zeka jumps right in to trying to help his fellow passengers as best he can, whether it involves fetching things on the train, offering moral support, or retrieving people.
He's not sure how to do the last one, but he can follow instructions well enough in most cases.
"Is anyone in need of an...ah, anchor? Tether? Or...aught else?"
