It had been a long time since she last said that to someone. She hasn't had a home, or anyone to come home, since her family died. The look on his face means it was the right thing to say, and she can feel it all the way deep in her chest, too. It was the right thing to say for her, too.

Her face is burning and all she can do is ignore it.
