He had a point, even if Lioriley did not care to admit as much aloud in that moment. There could likely be others with more pressing, physical wounds that needed immediate attention. And if they perished and appeared in the luggage car the same as he had, it would be better to bring them directly to triage, and know they had the room to spare for it. Still, going through the gate may only make him more lethargic, and they still had to get there, get through it, and make it into one of the medical bay rooms.
