"You should have seen it when all the buildings were new. They are well preserved for their age, nonetheless."

Views from the windows include a small part of the mountain range the Lan Clan have made their home. The buildings are low to the ground, careful not to disturb the landscape. If asked, Wangji will tell them which buildings served what purpose way back when he was a student here, versus what they are for now. The long ones tended to be dormitories for guest students or clan members, one of each now preserved for the museum and the others converted into offices or modern dorms. There are some scattered houses that were inner clan homes, one is his own, and the two large multiple story buildings were the library and the great hall.
The building they are in now is an old lecture hall with some modern upgrades, such as glass windows and heating for winter.

"As for people I need to say goodbye to..." He thinks for a moment, "I have contacted my employer and left instructions for the maintenance of my home. That is all." He doesn't shrug but some how still gives the impression that's what he's doing.
"I have no family and few friends. We can leave whenever you wish."
