Hearing that Nebula at least wasn't alone did comfort him somewhat. In his efforts to try and help Thanos and Nebula reconnect, T'Challa admittedly knew little about her relationship with Gamora. From what he could tell, they got along decently enough, though still weren't particularly close. "I'm glad that she still has family to turn to."

Yondu's advice does bring a small smile to his face, having received rather similar advice from him back home in his younger years. After the (supposed) loss of his family and country on Earth, he had been very determined to save everyone in the universe. But the reminder that he couldn't do everything helped keep him grounded in what could or could not be done for people.
