But then he hears that indignant animal shriek and looks up! Just in time to see a creature falling towards his face.
Hunk is a big dude but it turns out a frightened big dude can climb a tree pretty quick. So from Zelda's vantage point she probably sees this idiot see a falling monkey, panic, go up a tree that's actually much smaller up top than he predicted, and soon it's bending backwards with Hunk koala clinging around the trunk, threatening to fall to the ground if he lets go. Worse? Now the trunks is creaking.
"Okay," he says sadly to himself more than to Zelda in particular. "I think I've made a terrible choice."
The monkey previously harassing Zelda thinks it's pretty funny.
