A bit of fun, poked at himself. He didn't exactly like having a witness to his gracelessness, and there was a hint of a purple flush at the very tips of his ears, but making a bigger scene of his humiliation wasn't exactly the best route to ensure that he wouldn't feel any further embarrassment.

"It going to be alright, by the way?" He asked, changing the topic to further push his humiliation farther away, nodding toward where the cat had trotted off into the forest. Aden had never had a pet before- unless you counted his droids- but he knew enough to know that people got attached to them.

"I'm pretty sure the future hat and mittens and slippers, possibly, are carnivorous."
