Even if he got in trouble (which he would, considering he has a friend that's going to flip out and become a super-powered King Kong) he does have a number of healers willing to patch him up, which he found out during the last mission despite his better intentions. Good to hear she's been at it that long. Means she might get less frustrated than most healers that have to deal with their workload.
They can hardly be blamed, but he is a source of trouble.
At least two of those kids are "his" though, essentially adopted, and a few others he took to mentoring and worry about them quite a bit. Even the ones he's only been there in passing for he cares about.

It might not be a whole lotta packs, but it's enough to last him a while. God he wants one of those bottomless bags, but he always passes on them in favor of letting the item packhorses carry them.
