Aden was quick to move in, of course, not about to waste the chance he'd been given. In a battle of strength between a person and a wild beast, the beast had a tendency to win when it dragged out too long.
While the goat struggled for control even in its shaky state, Aden was quick to slip close, knife in hand- jabbed up into the goat's neck, apparently finding its mark judging by how quickly the animal went down as a result.
It wasn't pleasant work. But at least it was fast, and without much suffering.
And hopefully it should be worth something too. Surely there'd be someone who could make use of it for meat or fur or even those horns, Aden figured. First thing's first though, as he pulled the knife out so he could wipe it off, gaze turning to Tidus, giving him a quick glance over to see if he could spot any obvious injuries.
