Lioriley probably would have been fine with the initial position; her hands having already shifted to hold on tight to him. But when she felt her feet leave the ground and she answered with a rather undignified noise of surprise, all pretense of composure was lost as heat flooded her cheeks for the second time in as many hours.

Instinct had her arms looping around his neck, slender frame tucked against his chest. He could probably feel her staring at him; wide-eyed in surprise...and yet making no obvious indication that she was displeased. If he thought it was the best way to carry her up safely, then she trusted his judgement.

She would just ignore the way her heart thumped wildly in her chest; mirrored in the way her leylines pulsed.

"Ah...uh huh." She agreed, cursing herself for sounding as flustered as she felt.
