"Let us hope they do not." She said, sparing one last look up to the beasts in the trees before turning all of her focus to gathering leaves. If Rezo was going to be distracted protecting their heads from getting pelted with rocks, she had better be quick to finish.
Unfortunately, the shields only seemed to make the monkeys more inclined to attack; now annoyed they weren't hitting the sweet spots on their targets. More rocks and acorns rained down from the treetops, mostly striking the shield, but sometimes slimming across her arms and torso, threatening to knock her shears from her hand or - even worse - have her toppling off the branch.
"That should be enough - ah." A rock right to the shoulder punctuated that thought. "So unnecessarily aggressive."
