For the most part, Rezo does an admirable job keeping his focus on shielding the two of them, psychically willing the shields to move alongside them, particularly Lioriley who is actually trying to move around.

This focus does, however, flicker somewhat when he hears that ah. Not enough to drop the shields, and he quickly forces his attention back to maintaining them, although not without suggesting:

“Have you considered returning fire?”

Since these animals are apparently doing their level best to break Lioriley’s neck, and all. Honestly, he’d do it himself if it didn’t require him dropping their shields. Just a few aero bombs to try scaring the little beasts off.
