Once the shield dropped, Lioriley turned all of her focus on the aggravated monkeys also leaping toward her; completely unaware that Rezo's surge forward would be as swift and as aggressive as it was. So when he essentially tackled her she stumbled, the arm she had outstretched to cast a spell to further deter the beasts moving instead to wrap around the priest's neck, fingertips icy cold when they grazed his skin. For the second - or was it third? - time that day, she exhaled a very undignified yelp of surprise.
