The girl's assessment of Alice is pretty spot on. Alice does like to fight, and the main reason she's been going on missions before - hero complex she doesn't like to admit to aside - has been because she at least got to smash things up without consequence.

But right now.. even that feels more unappealing for some reason. Alice isn't sure what it is. It's like there's a spark inside of her that has been steadily dimming over the past while.

"Usually I would," she slowly says. "But right now, I.."

Her voice trails off. She frowns, but it doesn't seem angry. Something about it seems weirdly vulnerable instead. "I feel tired."
