Trunks is definitely struggling a bit, to keep that hand from smashing him fully in the ground. But Cassie is good at distracting, so eventually he's able to wiggle out. Back into the air he goes, still glowing brightly and working hard. Now though, now his hits are designed to hurt. They need to take Vegeta down, since Bulma's cries aren't working.

Trunks is not risking his mother, and he's not yet to the point where he's going for the tail. But soon, because if this drags out much longer...
