Roland doesn't hide his shock at the violence of fire before him, an explosion befitting their opponent's stocky, blobby build. He covers his face with the crook of his arm, standing up quickly and keeping his pistol aimed at its burning silhouette in case it withstands the worldly equivalent of hellfire.

Thankfully for them, it doesn't. The embers fade into the wind, and the only thing left of the creature are specks of its body parts writhing on the ground. Roland thinks they might act like a starfish's legs when cut off, but nothing of the sort happens. He nods to Wash in gratitude, jogging back to the other.

"Great job. I haven't seen a blast that big in a while." He looks around the immediate area. "I hope they got to safety. Where's your friend?"
