Consolidating towards Tidus, Faux attempts to guard the user against the one a half voidblobs left unrestrained. The damaged half voidblob, thhe closest of the two, still staggering towards the user summarily receives several more slices before the creature can lift a limb from his sword, shaving off more from the abnormal creature. It's a wonder that it hadn't collapsed yet like the other crushed by 'jaws' had.
The stretchy, limb covered voidblob is still focused on Tidus, and obscuring it's view of the user doesn't seem to be having any effect on drawing its attention away either. Considering a different approach, he retracts his sword, converting it into his staff instead. With the additional speed, letting loose a full force blow to the front of the voidblob, staggers it for a few seconds, and that is all. Blunt force is definitely less effective.
"You're 'friend' seems to be quite enamored with you."
It doesn't take long for him to come to the conclusion they will have to tackle one of the larger voidblobs together. Unless, "You don't so happen to have any other magic that could help?" It is worth a try. The only thing he knows he has that could end this solidly is his tank...
