A look back to where Cassie was rushing in from, Vegeta's mouth snapped open, letting out a blast of ki from it just short of the area Cassie is rushing in towards, using it to cut off her path before she got near him. However hearing the shout coming from Bulma, he starts to turn his head in that direction, that ki beam cutting through plants and ground as it sweeps towards her.

But cuts off just before reaching her location.

There's a deep rumble from behind clenched teeth, before his mouth opening again, similar to when he had been about to use that ki blast. Instead there's a bark of a roar in her direction, ending in a drawn out growl behind it.
