Long story short, the sects eventually learned Yifu was behind alot of the problems that happened and the deaths to some of their people. They confronted him about it. Yifu lost in a fight and his miradians were crushed so he was incaple of walking or fighting for that matter. I stopped it so they didn't kill him out right. Yet, I wasn't good either. I made it so he couldn't talk anymore. I didn't want him to still have power through his words. He thought I was going to kill him and had accepted that defeat, but was surprised to learn I didn't. So now he is totally dependent on me. Especially since he lost all of his allies.
