"The family was frightened," Nell went on. "No one knew what to do. They just knew the village was in danger. It couldn't be fixed by growing a plant or being super strong or changing the weather. It was scary, just like it is here. They had to find a way to save the magic."

She looked out at all the children. "What do you think they did?"

The children called out various answers and one little girl firmly said, "They had to all work togeteher to save it."

"You're right," Nell said with a smile and turned back to Bruno.
