He's very, very careful as he takes the card from his friend, having gathered enough to know that the small piece of laminated paper is incredibly precious to him. He's learning a lot about Kaiba lately, and he's greedy for any more insight, clutching each piece close to his soul as he slowly learns the shape he'll give it. The card is another hint, though he's not sure what the definitive shape of this hoard will be.

The colours are striking alright. The dragon itself looks... a bit odd by Esteban's standards, but he can recognize the reach, the sweep of the arms. There's something strangely protective about the stance, and he can believe Jonouchi when he says this.

"Like a Guardian Spirit." There's an interesting thought. "I didn't think--" he pauses, shifting the card just a bit, and there is something about the way her eye is affixed to his own that is a little distracting. He moves on. "I didn't know you c'ld get one this way." The card is carefully handed back to its owner while Esteban lingers onto these implications. There's a bit of a snicker as he adds.

"Guess I shouldn't swear 'round you then. She might take offense." Too many of his swears involve Guardian Spirits after all.
