Kaiba seems a little more relaxed as they sit here. It's almost as if he can sense her presence now...his beloved Blue Eyes, always beside him. He laughs at Esteban's offer, though.

"I don't think she's easily offended. Not with me as her human," he teases as he gently places the card back in its proper place. "But I'm sure she appreciates the respect. Are you feeling better now?"

He digs in his pack for anything that might be of use---he doesn't have a potion or anything, but he does have rations. He offers his friend a granola bar.

But as he does so, something else occurs to him. "But...ah, if you have guardian spirits, I'll keep that in mind."
